Electronic Rhyme Books

Electronic rhyme books teach babies words

Electronic rhyme books are books that play beautiful nursery rhymes and that help babies and preschool children learn about the alphabet, numbers and how to pronounce words. Younger children love nursery rhymes and with rhyme books they can sing along and develop pronunciation and speaking skills. Another benefit of these electronic books is that children can develop fine and gross motor skills as they hit the buttons in order to play various nursery rhymes.

These rhyming books are also a great way to introduce babies and preschoolers to books. Because just like with books these rhyming books have pages that can be flipped. Each page contains buttons that children have to hit in order to play a melody. Overall, rhyming books are among the electronic toys that you must get along with laptop computers for children. Children love electronic toys because they are fun. And these toys also encourage thinking and learning (letters, number, colors, etc).

Fisher Price Laugh and Learn Storybook Rhymes

Electronic rhyme books that we recommend

Which rhyme book should you get? We believe that Fisher Price and Vtech have the best books. The first that we recommend is the Fisher Price Laugh and Learn Storybook Rhymes (for 6 months old up to 4 years old). What we like about these electronic rhyming book is that children can flip the pages just like with a book and therefore they can develop a love for reading early on. What we also like is the fact that it is educational (it teaches letters and words, numbers, color, etc). It also produces beautiful melodies and has flashing lights which babies and young children usually enjoy.

The other electronic rhyme book that we recommend is the VTech Rhyme and Discover Book (ages 6 months to 4 years). Just like with the Fisher Price toy, it has pages that can be turned which gives children the feeling that they are reading a book. Each page has buttons that children can hit and that encourage learning (for example, new words and animal names). The book plays popular nursery rhymes (such as "twinkle twinkle little star") and what we like about it is that the volume can be adjusted (great for parents who are getting tired of all the noise produced by these electronic toys)and that it is a high quality toy which is difficult to break and easy to clean.

If you are looking for a birthday present for a toddler, an electronic rhyming book is a great idea and a great gift at a great price.
